Iolani Leatherworks is the creation of designer and maker Aimee Taylor. Her journey with leather began nearly 20 years ago in Budapest, Hungary, apprenticing in the art of hand-welted luxury men’s shoes.

Today, inspired by the natural beauty of her island home in the lush rainforests of Puna, Aimee carries that same dedication to detail into every leather bag she makes.

From pattern to stitch, each piece is made completely by hand on Hawai‘i Island. Combining old-world craftsmanship, functional design, full-grain leather, and solid brass hardware, Aimee creates bags with laid-back sophistication, timeless style, and the spirit of aloha.
